Nepal is now a smart card license, from November 20 to be applicable information.

During a special program, Vice prime minister and transportation minister Bijaya Kumar Gacchedar has launched the smart card driving license by first providing itto the cheif of transportation management Mr. Chandraman Shrestha. During the program Mr Bijaya Kumar gacchedar also said that, this step is also one of the step taken by the government in managing a proper traffic system in Nepal and this system will be able to solve the issues of traffic problem in Nepal and also stop illegal fake license problem in Nepal. Public will be able to get the smart license from mangsir 20. On the first phase government will distribute the smart card license only in Bagmati and in the near future this system will be applicable all over the country.
